I am often asked the
question if I would consider installing floor covering that the client has
on hand or they have already purchased or plan to purchase from a
wholesaler, through the internet or mill direct. There seems to be a
myriad of sources to purchase flooring these days. The answer to that is-
absolutely. I'm a floor covering installation contractor and maintain
no loyalties to manufacturers, products or dealers. There are products that
I do believe install with more difficulty than others due to how they
are manufactured and the cost to you to install that product does reflect
that fact, but the only loyalties I maintain are to my customer. The
following product source is for your convenience. To use if you wish
to shop, compare or buy at a reputable, local, trustworthy franchise.
I'm a member of a
nationwide wholesale flooring sales and distribution network called
ProSource.
They are set up to sell brand name flooring to the trade only, builders,
contractors, realtors and the like. The showroom I use on 19th Ave. in
Phoenix, just north of the loop 101 freeway (click
here for a printable map and directions) is stocked with all types of
flooring samples. From your basic products like tufted cut pile carpets,
engineered wood and laminate, sheet vinyl and ceramic tile. All the way
through to high end woven carpets, wool, natural fiber flooring like sisal,
seagrass, bamboo and cork. Domestic and exotic hardwoods, luxury vinyl tile and
other high end resilient flooring, large format porcelain
tile, and highly desired stone tile like granite, marble, travertine and
limestone. I can masterfully install any product in the showroom.
Pro Source has highly
competitive pricing and a friendly sales staff. ProSource's only
business is flooring sales. They don't sell installation labor. This is what
sets them apart from the big boxes and other flooring dealers who supply
installation at their discretion.
Pro Source is a great option for the educated consumer who would like access
to top quality flooring brands and to
control the most important aspect of their flooring project...it's
installation.
The way it works is
simple...
-
You get a referral from me-
that can be verbal, written or just mention 'Ken sent you' when you visit
the showroom.
-
Sign the guest register and
shop for your flooring.
-
Sign for samples you'd like
to borrow and bring home and get your price quote. Any pricing listed on the
samples is usually retail, your price quote will reflect your actual
pricing.
-
Contact me for a free labor
proposal and to measure your space.
-
When you are ready to order
your flooring, ProSource accepts cash, checks and major credit cards and
normally require 50% down and the balance when the material is picked up.
