The entry door with travertine in the lobby,
using tackstrip to start against.

2mm soft joint.

Exterior door with header that partially covers
the aluminum sill, and threshold molding cut to cover the expansion space
around the steel door jamb.

the door opens in and has less clearance.

The cover was removed and wood inserted flush
with support underneath. The access is rarely used and the space is to be
used as a dance floor, so a smooth transition is important.
